Updated: May 23, 2020

Is it a hot day or a call from a surprise guest yet to arrive? Here is a simple, sweet, rich, and delicious Pineapple souffle dessert.

Pineapple souffle is a simple and quick recipe served at any occasion. The combination of juicy pineapples slices with the delicious blend of sweet condensed milk with rich cream and pineapple jelly gives you a luscious dessert in no time.

Ingredients to make Pineapple Soufflé

tbsp= tablespoon

  • 1 1/2 Pineapple can

  • 1 Pineapple Jelly pack

  • 2 cups Amul Fresh Cream

  • 1/4 cup nestle Milkmaid sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 tbsp Gelatin mixed in ¼ cup of pineapple water (optional)

How to make Pineapple Jelly

Set jelly:

  • Take a bowl to add one cup hot pineapple water which we had saved from pineapple can, pour pineapple jelly powder and stir till it is completely dissolved in water.

  • Add 1 cup room temperature water. Stir well

  • Pour jelly in a shallow container and refrigerate till its set.

  • Once set finely slice the jelly into fine pieces.

Pineapple Mix

  • Cut Pineapple slices very finely. Save the water to set pineapple jelly.

  • Whisk fresh cream for thickness.

  • Take a mixing bowl to add 1 - 1/2 finely chopped Pineapple slices, 2 cups Amul Cream,1/4 cup of nestle Milkmaid.

  • Add fine jelly pieces. Mix well.

  • Finally, add gelatin for the thickness. Mix well. (optional)

  • Pour the soufflé in the setting dish and chill for two hours. For best result, set overnight.

  • Serve cold.

My Tip:

1. Don’t discard pineapple canned water. It’s important to save the pineapple water to set jelly.

2. Pineapple slices and jelly has to be very finely chopped and sliced, as it gives extra taste to the dish.

3. Gelatin or whipped cream is used for thickening the soufflé. You may also skip it both or use anyone.

4. Do not add extra water to the soufflé dish other than pineapple water.
